3.4. Securing the Battery Cabinet

Floor Securing Bracket

Washer Locking M10

The Battery Cabinet is mounted directly to the floor. The method of fixing must be suitable for the

cabinet size and weight, and for the surface to which the cabinet is being secured.

1. Place cabinet in position.

2. Mark the fixing holes through the base and rear of the cabinet with a permanent marker.

3. Remove cabinet.

4. Drill all marked holes. De-burr all holes.

5. Place cabinet back in position.

6. Place the 4 Floor Securing Brackets in position over the fixing holes in the Side Panels and on top

of the Battery Support Bars.

7. Fix cabinet using appropriate floor anchors to secure the cabinets.

8. Tighten the Floor Securing Bracket Fixings to the torque specified by the manufacturer.

9. If required, fix the cabinet to the wall using appropriate wall anchors to secure the cabinets.

10. Tighten the Wall Anchor Fixings to the torque specified by the manufacturer.
