INSPECTION
A thorough inspection must be performed and corroborated by members of the installation team prior
to any electrical or live testing. Complete the following table.
STRUCTURE CHECKS
All cabinets are positioned as per plan.
All plastic shrouds are fitted.
All cabinets are free from tools or any other
foreign objects.
All installation fixings are torque set and
checked.
CABLING CHECKS
Correct cable and size is used for AC
Protective Earth.
All terminations are secured to correct
torque.
All DC cables are sized and routed as per
plan, and "grouped & spaced" as required.
RECTIFIER CHECKS
Correct rectifier type and quantity are fitted.
All rectifier serial numbers are recorded.
BATTERY CHECKS
All batteries are checked for physical
damage, cracks or leaks,
All battery connections are torque set and
checked.
MISCELLANEOUS CHECKS
All Power Cabinet labelling complete.
