Cleaning the Reusable Air Inlet Filter

Follow these steps to clean the reusable air inlet filter (Figure 30):
1. Remove the filter and examine for damage or debris.
2. Wash using one of the following solutions, then rinse thoroughly:
• Palmolive
dishwashing detergent
• Isopropyl alcohol (99.9%)
• Clorox Ultra
3. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinstalling.

CAUTION: Never reinstall a wet filter.
CAUTION: Use only Respironics-approved filters.
CAUTION: Replace any filter that is damaged.
CAUTION: Do not attempt to clean or reuse disposable air inlet
filters.
