When the ATA system is armed, indicator lamp
ashes in the overhead control panel.
ATA is automatically deactivated in the following
situations:
A er unlocking the vehicle with the SmartKey

When the SmartKey is inserted into the ignition

The alarm will not be deactivated, even if you
immediately close the open door that has trig-
gered it, for example.

Close all the doors.

Lock the vehicle with the key.

The tow-away alarm remains disarmed until you
lock the vehicle again.
