The Mercedes-Benz emergency call system only
functions in areas where mobile phone coverage is
available from the relevant contract partner. Insuf-
ficient network coverage from the relevant con-
tract partner may result in an emergency call not
being transmitted.
The Mercedes-Benz emergency call system can
help to decisively reduce the time between an
accident and the arrival of emergency services at
the site of the accident. It helps locate an accident
site in places that are di cult to access.
An emergency call can be initiated automatically or
manually using the SOS button (
Only make emergency calls if you or others are in
need of rescue. Do not make an emergency call in
the event of a breakdown or a similar situation.
