* N N O O TE TE Do not use diesel to refuel vehicles
with a gasoline engine
If you have accidentally refueled with the
wrong fuel:
Do not switch on the vehicle. Otherwise

fuel can enter the engine.
Even small amounts of the wrong fuel
could result in damage to the fuel system
and the engine. The repair costs are high.
Consult a quali ed specialist workshop.

completely.

refueling process. Otherwise, electrostatic
charge could build up again.

Open fuel ller ap 1.

Turn fuel ller cap

counter-clockwise and

remove it.
Close all vehicle doors to prevent fuel vapors
#
from entering the vehicle interior.
Completely slide the ller neck of the pump
#
nozzle into the tank, hook in place and refuel.
Fill the fuel tank only until the pump nozzle
#
switches o .
Replace fuel ller cap

You will hear a click when the fuel ller cap is
closed fully.
Open the front le -hand door.

Close fuel ller ap 1.

If the fuel tank has been run completely dry,
add at least 1.3 gal (5 l) of fuel. Switch on the
vehicle three to four times before starting the
vehicle.

Vehicles that can use a mixture of fuels can be
recognized by the sticker "Ethanol up to E85!"
on the fuel ller ap.
