*The red seat belt warning lamp lights up or ashes a er the vehicle has
started. A warning tone may also sound.
For certain countries only: The red seat belt warning lamp lights up for a
maximum of six seconds a er the vehicle has been switched on.
The seat belt warning lamp reminds the driver and front passenger to
fasten their seat belts.

*The red seat belt warning lamp lights up a er the vehicle starts as soon
as the driver's or front passenger door has been closed.
The driver's or front passenger's seat belt is not fastened.

objects on the front passenger seat.
