antifreeze
If antifreeze comes into contact with hot com-
ponents in the engine compartment, it may
ignite.
Allow the vehicle to cool down before

re lling with antifreeze.
Make sure that antifreeze does not spill

out over the ller neck.
Before starting the vehicle, thoroughly

clean the components contaminated with
antifreeze.

Only add coolant that has been premixed

with the required antifreeze protection.

against overheating and corrosion at high out-
side temperatures.

Do not spill coolant on painted surfaces.

Have the coolant regularly replaced at a quali ed
specialist workshop.
Note the proportion of anti-corrosion agent/anti-
freeze in the engine cooling system within the fol-
lowing temperature ranges:
A minimum of 50% (antifreeze protection down

to about -35°F (-37°C))
A maximum of 55% (antifreeze protection down

to -49°F (-45°C))
