ARNING Risk of accident due to an
instrument cluster malfunction
If the instrument cluster has failed or malfunc-
tioned, you may not notice restrictions to
safety-relevant system functions.
The operating safety of your vehicle may be
impaired.
Drive on carefully.

Have the vehicle checked immediately at
#
a quali ed specialist workshop.
The on-board computer shows messages and
warnings from speci c systems on the instrument
cluster display. Ensure that your vehicle is operat-
ing safely at all times.
If you are uncertain regarding the operational
safety of your vehicle, park the vehicle safely as
soon as possible. Inform a quali ed specialist
workshop.
Display messages with graphic symbols are simpli-
ed in the Operator's Manual and may di er from
the symbols on the display.

A warning tone will also sound for speci c display
messages.
Please act in accordance with the display mes-
sages and follow the additional notes in this Opera-
tor's Manual.
You can hide low-priority display messages using
the 3 button on the instrument cluster. The dis-
play messages will be saved to the message mem-
ory. Rectify the cause of a display message as
quickly as possible.
High-priority display messages cannot be hidden.
The display will show these display messages per-
manently until the cause of the display message
has been recti ed.

The display shows high-priority display messages in
red. A warning tone will also sound for speci c dis-
play messages.
Please act in accordance with the display mes-
sages and follow the additional notes in this Opera-
tor's Manual.

the a or % steering-wheel button. The dis-
play messages will be saved to the message mem-
ory. Rectify the cause of a display message as

saved display messages. Use the buttons on the
instrument cluster.
Press the È button to select the message

memory. If display messages are available, the
display will show the number of saved mes-
sages.
If there are no display messages, the display

the display messages.
A er the last saved display message, the dis-
play will again show the start screen of the
message memory with the number of saved
messages.
