Regularly check the engine cooling system and the
heating system for leaks. If there is a loss of cool-
ant, have the cause determined and recti ed in a
quali ed specialist workshop without delay.

Start the engine.

Set the temperature in the vehicle interior to

the maximum output on the control panel of
the climate control.

Check the coolant level again and add coolant

Avoid re, open ames, smoking and the

creation of sparks when using windshield
washer concentrate.

Certain component parts in the engine com-
partment can be very hot, e.g. the engine, the
cooler and parts of the exhaust system.
Allow the engine to cool down and only

to unsuitable windshield washer uid
Unsuitable windshield washer uid may dam-
age the plastic surface of the exterior lighting.
Only use windshield washer uids that

are also suitable for use on plastic surfa-
ces, e.g. MB SummerFit or MB WinterFit.
