Service Intervals

Refer to the illustrations on the following pages to identify the various locations that require lubrication and
servicing. Illustrations are organized by the frequency of service that is required.
Refer to Section
6.3.2 Recommended Fluids and
Lubricants, page 113
for specifications.
Every 10 Hours or Daily
Every 25 Hours
NOTE: To prevent binding and/or excessive wear
caused by knife pressing on guards,
do NOT over grease the knifehead (A).
If more than six to eight pumps of the
grease gun are required to fill the cavity,
replace the seal in the knifehead.
NOTE: Check for signs of excessive heating
on first few guards after greasing.
