The address can either be entered in
Ethernet format (0) or Token Ring format
(1) the default value is Ethernet format (0).
This is the 12-digit MAC address of the
controller's Ethernet adapter Enter the last
8 hexadecimal characters of the
connection number, the first four positions
are 0200 (Ethernet address format) or
4000 (Token Ring address format). Valid
characters are 0 - 9, and A - F (upper
case). This address is assigned by your
system manager and administrated locally.
Maximum time allotted to receive an
appropriate response from the workstation.
The minimum value must be the total
number of possible frame delays in the
system. Valid value = [1 to 20] seconds;
default = [1 second].
Maximum time that the network or
workstation may be inactive before it is
considered inoperative. The minimum
value must be ten times the response timer
value. Valid values are 1 to 99 seconds,
default value = 30
Maximum time that the Controller is
allowed to send acknowledgments to the
