When the system reboots, a Matrox icon appears in the clock tray of the windows 2000
taskbar. Click on the Matrox icon and choose Display Properties from the popup menu.

On the Display Properties window, click the Advanced... button to bring up the Plug and Play
Monitor and Matrox G400/450 Properties window and select the Dual Head tab.

Expand the Features folder by clicking on the + box and highlight the DualHead Multi-display
item.

Click on the Change Settings button to bring up the DualHead Multi-display window and make
the following selections:
a.
Check the Use DualHead Multi-display checkbox if 2 monitors will be used.
b.
Select the Same resolution and color palette for both displays radio button.
c.
Select the side-by-side relationship for the second monitor by clicking on the monitor 2 button
to the right of the monitor 1 icon. The right-hand monitor 2 button now appears depressed.
d.
Click the OK button to close the DualHead Multi-display window.
