CNF 004 Adding/Configuring TCP/IP Printer
Section 1: Introduction
This job card provides instructions for properly configuring the use of a TCP/IP printer for use with
the application software. TCP/IP printers are paper based printers used for such things as printing
reports and work lists.
Section 2: TOOLS REQUIRED
Windows 2000 CD-ROM.
Section 3: PREREQUISITES
u
Workstation integration completed.
u
Workstation operating system software installed and configured.
u
Workstation application software installed and configured.
u
TCP/IP printers are on the network and pingable.
u
Printer network name and/or IP address or printer manufacturer and model.
Section 4: Procedure
1.
Log in as administrator. There may be no password set at this time. If a password has been
set it could be: (CANal1).
