3-1 Verify Ethernet Connection
Click on

2. Execute the ping command with the IP address of a workstation on the network.
Example:
The command should not time-out with no response indicated from the workstation.
3-2 Set Correct System Time
1. From Windows, right click on the clock located on the task bar.
2. Select the Adjust Date/Time menu option.
3. Click the Time Zone tab and set appropriately.
4. Click on Apply.
5. Select the Date & Time tab and set the time and date appropriately.
Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt
ping 3.28.75.100 [Return]
You should see a response from the ping if the Ethernet
connection is good.
Pinging 3.28.75.100 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 3.28.75.100 : bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=255
