6. Workflow > 6.3. Preparing the patient
WARNING
Never leave the coil cable in contact with the skin, as localized RF heating may cause skin
burns. Use pads between the skin and the coil cable.

Give the patient the PESB and instruct them how to use it. See 2.5.1. Patient Emergency Stop
Button (PESB).

Give the patient ear plugs and a headset.
10.
Release the Table Top by pressing the release button and push it into the magnet bore until you
hear a "click" sound and a short audio signal.
WARNING
Make sure that no pulling force is exerted on the catheters or IV tubes when you are
pushing the patient into the magnet.
Failure to follow this instruction may cause the patient pain and tissue damage.

6.3.2. Verifying the patient positioning

1.
Start a new examination on the MR console. Fill in the mandatory patient data.
2.
Select the Sonalleve folder and the Therapy ExamCard:

Select the patient position.
-
Turn on Autopush.
-
Autopush will automatically send all images to the Sonalleve console.

Go to the Scan context menu and select Push to Workstation.
-
Select Yes to Sonalleve in the ExamCard Push node.
