7. Maintenance > 7.2. Sonalleve MR-HIFU Quality Assurance (QA) procedure

7.2.1. Preparing the QA phantom for use

1. Remove the ultrasound window cover.
2. Fill the space between the ultrasound window membrane and the QA Phantom Plate with
degassed water. Use a large syringe and hold the syringe near the membrane to minimize air
bubbles. Be careful not to puncture the membrane.

3. With degassed water on the membrane, place the QA Phantom Plate on the Table Top at an
angle to minimize trapping bubbles underneath the plate.
