6. Workflow > 6.7. Preparing the system for sonication
WARNING
If the system detects a transducer movement failure, it stops the treatment and issues an
error message. You must rerun the Hardware Initialization.
6.7.2. Scanning Temperature Mapping
Scan the temperature mapping protocol:
To see the image quality and any possible artefacts.
To verify the position of REST slab, if used.
To place Freehand Warning ROIs.
To verify the visibility of markers.
To verify the positioning of near-field (and far-field) monitor slice stacks.
1.
Go to the Scan tab of Therapy stage.
2.
Select the predefined temperature mapping protocol from the drop-down list of scan protocols.
3.
Start the scan.
4.
Stop the scan when multiple temperature maps have been acquired.
