Whenever the QA phantom needs to be removed from the QA Phantom Plate, make sure that the
QA phantom is placed so that the membrane does not make contact with any surface.
Store the QA phantom at normal room temperature.

7.3. Cleaning and disinfection

WARNING
Clean, dry and disinfect the parts that come into contact with the patient after each
treatment according to the instructions below. Discard any single-use accessories such as
gel pads. Failure to follow this instruction may increase the risk of infection or serious
illness for the patient, operator or the service personnel.
Cleaning and disinfection techniques for both the product and the room must comply with all
applicable local laws and regulations.
Use the following cleaning/disinfecting agents for cleaning the system:
A mild washing agent mixed with water for cleaning all surfaces
Ethanol 70%, water 30% for cleaning all surfaces
Isopropanol 70%, water 30% for cleaning all surfaces
0.1% hypochlorite in water for cleaning all surfaces
The membrane and membrane rings can be cleaned with stronger liquids:
100% Ethanol
100% Isopropanol.
CAUTION
Only use the cleaning agents listed above. Other cleaning agents may damage the system.
If you are not sure about the properties of a cleaning/disinfecting agent, do not use it.
WARNING
Do not use flammable or potentially explosive disinfecting sprays.
Such sprays create vapors, which can ignite, causing fatal or other serious personal injury.
