10. Appendices > 10.7. Hospital administrator and user accounts
Power users can edit the system configuration.
Power users have access to all the maintenance tools in the software.
Power users have access to additional operating modes of the Sonalleve MR-HIFU application,
as described in 10.8.1. Partial standalone modes.
Power users can use the Export Data feature described in 6.8.10. Saving the treatment data.
The hospital IT administrator or Profound Medical service shall define local user accounts for the
Sonalleve console (Windows login). User accounts should be managed by the hospital
administrator. It is also possible to create multiple hospital administrator accounts.
Rename the default accounts. Use strong passwords. Do not share accounts: each user should
have an individual account. If this is not possible, then take appropriate security measures to
manage the accounts, such as changing passwords when users change roles.

10.7.2. Creating a new user/administrator account

Logon with username HospitalAdmin (not case sensitive).
The password of HospitalAdmin is 'Hospital' (case sensitive) on the first logon. You have to change
the password on the first logon.
Right-click the Windows Start menu and select Computer Management.

Select System Tools → Local Users and Groups → Users.

Select Action → New User...

Enter a personal username, a full name, and an account description. Define and confirm a
password of minimum 7 characters for the new user. Click Create and then Close.
Right-click the newly created user in the list and select Properties.

In the Member Of page select Add...

For normal user accounts type "HIFU Users" (without quotation marks) and click Check
Names. The entered text should expand to "HIFUCONSOLE\HIFU Users". Click OK.

For power user accounts type "HIFU Power Users" (without quotation marks) and click
Check Names. The entered text should expand to "HIFUCONSOLE\HIFU Power Users".
Click OK.

For administrator accounts type "HIFU Administrator Users; Administrators" (without
quotation marks) and click Check Names. The entered text should expand to
"HIFUCONSOLE\HIFU Administrator Users; HIFUCONSOLE\Administrators". Click OK.
Click OK.

Close the Computer Management window.
NOTICE
On the first logon the new user or administrator is forced to change his/her password.
