6.6. Therapy planning

6.6.1. Starting Therapy in the Sonalleve MR-HIFU application

1. In the start page of the Sonalleve MR-HIFU application, select the appropriate clinical application
in the Application list.
2. Select Therapy in the Mode list.
3. Click the Therapy application selection button.
NOTICE
The Application list only displays those clinical applications that have been installed and
configured for use.

6.6.2. Entering patient information

Fill in the patient's body temperature and select the correct gel pad thickness from the drop down
menu. Then proceed to the next page.
It is essential that the patient's actual body temperature is used as a temperature reference. Check
the patient's body temperature with a reliable thermometer immediately before the therapy and, if
necessary, re-check it at regular intervals.
