With the Analysis tab still selected, check if there are sonication-related warnings (in the
message area in the middle of the Hardware Status Area). If there are warnings, analyze if they
affect the next sonication(s).
WARNING
Always leave sufficient cooling intervals between sonications.
Failure to do so may cause heat buildup in the near field or far field, leading to skin burn or
other unwanted tissue damage.
6.8.8. Registration
Registration is a feature that can perform the necessary corrections if any patient or organ
movement is observed during the treatment. For this, user has to identify correct positioning of the
PTV in two different image sets, one taken before the movement and another taken after the
movement.
When patient movement has occurred:
1.
Scan a new planning image set.
2.
Select the PTV Delineation tab.
