7.2.2. Performing the QA Test

NOTICE
Before performing a QA Test Sonication, check the DISC water level using the DISCfill tool.
1. Select the "Automatic QA Sonication" ExamCard.
2. Scan the Survey Scan, position the membrane bubble scan slices on the membrane-phantom
layer.
3. Scan the membrane bubble scan and verify that there are no large air bubbles. If there are,
remove them and repeat the procedure.
4. Start the temperature mapping scan.
Select Maintenance → Calibration Tests.

6. If the DISC system water level has not recently been checked, the check must be performed
first. For instructions, see 7.1.2.1.1. Checking the water level in DISC. To confirm that the check
was completed succesfully, check the The DISC system water level is acceptable checkbox. To
complete this step, click Finish.
