5.21 Current Leakage Detection

Sub code: -01 to -03
Method of Error
Current leakage is detected in the earth leakage detection circuit. Error is detected on the
Detection outdoor unit main PCB.
Error Decision
When leakage current is detected.
Conditions
Supposed
 Earth fault
Causes  Defective wiring with the current sensor
 Temporary liquid back or refrigerant stagnation
Troubleshooting
Part 6 Service Diagnosis
Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
Caution connectors, or parts may be damaged.
Turn OFF the power supply,
and then disconnect the
compressor lead wire.
Check
if the connection
to the current sensor
NO
(T1A) is correctly wired.

Defective compressor

Reconnect the wires, and
then reconnect the unit to the
power supply.
Troubleshooting by Error Code
Correct the wiring.
Replace the compressor.

It is possibly caused by
temporary oil return or
refrigerant stagnation.
