OPERATING THE HEADER

6.6 Header Angle

Header (or cutterbar) angle can be varied from 0–8° below horizontal. Choose an angle that maximizes performance
for your crop and field conditions. A flatter angle provides better clearance in stony conditions while a steeper angle
provides better lifting action in down crops.
The header angle may be hydraulically adjusted from
the windrower cab using the hydraulic cylinder (A)—if
equipped—without shutting down the windrower.
