5. Inspect roll gap at both ends of the rolls. Gap (B)
should be 0.5 in. (12.7 mm).
IMPORTANT:
Roll timing is critical when the roll gap is
decreased because the bars may contact each
other if the timing is wrong.

NOTE:
Factory setting is 1/2 in. (12.7 mm). A gap of
5/8 in. (16 mm) is strongly recommended for
heavier crop conditions.
7. Reinstall the conditioner shield (A). Secure with
bolts (B).

DANGER
Stop engine and remove key from ignition before
leaving operator's seat for any reason. A child or
even a pet could engage an idling machine.
1. Lower header fully.
