Backup/Restore of Configuration File

IMPORTANT:
using this procedure are limited to those described in configuration file.
Accordingly, the information about password and boot control are
excluded.
To backup or restore these settings, see Chapter 4 or 5.
Backup
Connect with ftp with user account "admin" to get configuration file (/var/nvdata/rw_poem.conf).

ftp> cd /var/nvdata/
ftp> get rw_poem.conf
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT:
rack name and the Blade Enclosure name are not stored in configuration
file when backing up by this procedure. Make backup copy of these
settings according to Chapters 4 and 5.
Note, however, it does not mean that you cannot use the configuration
file containing the rack name and the Blade Enclosure name. The
specified rack name/Blade Enclosure name are used.
Restore
1.
Send the configuration file to EM card.
Connect with ftp with user account "admin" to put the configuration file (rw_poem.conf)
you have stored in backup procedure on the directory /var/nvdata.
2.
Apply the settings in configuration file to EM card.
Connect with EM card through Telnet or SSH with user account "admin". Login the EM
card and execute the "apply" command.
If two EM cards are installed, executing the "apply" command from the active EM card applies
configuration file to the standby EM card at the same time.
IMPORTANT:
If two EM cards are installed, both cards are rebooted.
The configuration parameters that can be restored
<-- Log in as "admin"
<-- Enter password
With EM card of firmware revision 04.XX or later, the
Executing the "apply" command reboots the EM card.
