Bring the crankcase halves (3) and (16) together, tapping with a rubber mallet in the area of the shafts if necessary.
Prepare the crankcase screws, and insert them in the alternator-side crankcase half (3); note that the screws are of different
lengths.

Progressively tighten the crankcase screws until fully seated, starting with the screws of the largest diameter (M8) and following
the order indicated.
Insert two M8 screws (25) in the clutch-side crankcase (16).
Tighten all the screws to the specified torque (Sect. C 3, Engine torque settings).
