CAUTION!
Prior to commissioning, check that the pump and corre‐
sponding ancillary equipment is connected in compli‐
ance with the regulations!
CAUTION!
Danger of material damage
Observe the details in the chapter "Technical data"
(pressure, viscosity, resistance, etc.).
Check that the installation complies with the regulations
CAUTION!
Danger resulting from unnoticed diaphragm rupture
If the pump has been ordered with an electric diaphragm
rupture sensor, it still has to be installed.
Screw the enclosed diaphragm rupture sensor into
the liquid end.
CAUTION!
Warning of unnoticed diaphragm rupture
Only above approximately 2 bar system back pressure is
a signal generated in the event of the rupture of a dia‐
phragm.
Only rely on the diaphragm rupture sensor with back
pressures of greater than 2 bar.
Or install a back pressure valve and set it to a min‐
imum of 2 bar – if the installation permits this.
CAUTION!
Possible environmental and material damage
In event the red gear bleeding plug is sealed, during
operation it prevents any pressure compensation
between the drive housing and the surroundings. This
ensure that oil can be pushed from the drive housing.
Remove the gear bleeding plug before commis‐
sioning.
Before start up, remove the red gearbox vent stopper, see "Overview of
equipment and control elements" chapter.
When the pump is idle, check whether the oil level in the pump is in the
middle of the oil level indicator.
This will rule out the pump losing oil and suffering damage.
