13.5 Using Digital Input + FieldBus

The static unit as an option can be ordered with a FieldBus (Ex: profinet).
This option continuously writes the values on the unit keeping them up to date.
The external contact Sw
to enable the static unit, both contacts must be enabled.
Using the FieldBus it is possible to change the status of the Sw
(See the communication manual of the respective FieldBus), bearing in mind that the Sw
be closed to enable it.
This configuration is useful for having an external contact for a safety or emergency alternative to the FieldBus.
