Disconnect SwitchBattery /Main Contactor and Coil

DISCONNECT SWITCH, CHECK

1. Turn the key switch to the OFF position and
ensure Disconnect Switch is pushed into down
position.
2. Disconnect terminals from Disconnect Switch.
3. When the Disconnect Switch button is DOWN,
there should be no continuity between disconnect
switch terminals. When the Disconnect Switch is
in the UP position there shall be continuity
between terminals.

REMOVEDISCONNECT SWITCH

1. Turn the key switch to the OFF position and
disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the drive unit compartment cover. See
AC Motor Repair 0620YRM1513, Accessing the
Drive Unit Compartment.
3. Tag and remove all cables and wires attached to
the switch.

3. WASHER

4. Remove the two screws retaining the switch to
the lift truck frame. See Figure 7Figure 6.
5. Remove the switch.

INSTALLDISCONNECT SWITCH

1. Install the switch into the opening on the lift truck
frame.
2. Install the two screws used to retain the switch.
3. Install all wires and cables removed from the
switch.
4. Install the drive unit compartment cover.
5. Turn the key switch to the ON position and
connect the battery.
6. Test the switch for proper operation.

MAIN CONTACTOR COIL, CHECK

NOTE: The contactor contains no serviceable parts
and must be replaced as a complete assembly.
