5. Remove the sensor.

INSTALL

1. Install the sensor onto the tiller handle.
2. Adjust the sensor so the end of the sensor is no
more than 4 mm (.16 in.) from the tiller handle
bracket.
3. Tighten the nuts retaining the sensor to the tiller
bracket.
4. Reconnect the sensor lead to the truck harness.

CHECK

1. Turn the key switch to the ON position.
2. Move the tiller handle down and check that the
brake releases when the handle is in the
operating position. See Figure 9.

3. Continue moving the handle down and check that
the brake engages when the handle is fully
lowered.
4. Adjust the sensor if necessary.
5. Install the drive unit compartment cover.
