CHARGER TROUBLESHOOTING

Error Code Description

The number of Error Codes available exceeds a count
of 32 (up to 64 are possible). With 5-LEDs available,
only Code Numbers 1-31 can be displayed. There-
fore, for LED based products, two Error-Code Annun-
ciating Flash Patterns are employed which allows for
the display of 1-31 using one pattern and 32 to 64 us-
ing an alternate pattern:
Flash in a pattern of 3-Fast-Flash, then off, 3-
Fast-Flash etc. This Error Flash Pattern is an-
nunciating an error in the range of 1 to 31
Flash at a very fast rate. This Error Flash Pat-
tern is annunciating an error in the range of 32
to 63

The convenience port also flashes from the
center LED to the outer LED in a back and
forth pattern if communication between the
charger and convenience port is lost or if the
battery's voltage is below charger's minimum
voltage for charging threshold.
During an Error Code Annunciation, the charge cycle
has terminated its normal operation, prematurely. An
abnormal charging condition was detected and charg-
ing stopped due to a Charge Error Condition. Refer to
the following Table 4 for an extended description of
the failure or condition and its possible remedy.
