PVT DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION
Correct Drive Clutch Puller P/N PA-48595
1. Remove the seats and engine service panel (see
chapter 10 – BODY COMPONENT REMOVAL,
page
).
2. Disconnect the (-) negative battery terminal.
3. Place transmission in neutral.
4. Raise and support the vehicle.
CAUTION
Serious injury may result if machine tips or falls. Be
sure machine is secure before beginning this service
procedure.
5. Remove the left rear wheel.
6. Remove the eight clutch cover screws and remove
the outer clutch cover from the vehicle.

7. Mark the drive belt direction of rotation and remove
drive belt (see Chapter 6 – Belt Removal, page 5.11).
CAUTION
Non-LE and INTL Models ONLY: RZR 570 Base and
International models use a B.O.S.S (Built on Secondary
Shaft) driven clutch. Inner and outer clutch sheaves will
come off separately. Hold outer sheave securely
when removing the retaining bolt to relieve spring
pressure while removing the retaining bolt.
8. BASE and INTL Models: Noting clutch sheave
orientation, remove the driven clutch retaining bolt,
outer clutch sheave, thrust washers (3) and inner
clutch sheave.
9. LE Model: Remove the driven clutch retaining bolt
and driven clutch assembly.
10. Install the Drive Clutch Holder PN 9314177.
11. Remove the drive clutch retaining bolt and remove
drive clutch using the Drive Clutch Puller PA-48595.
Drive Clutch Puller: PA-48595
Drive Clutch Holder: 9314177
Be sure to use the correct Drive Clutch Puller to prevent
damage to crankshaft.
