Print Settings - clicking this button prints the current printer settings,
including the ink levels.
Calibration
Horizontal and Vertical Alignment - use to set proper carriage
alignment. After evaluating the test pattern, enter the number for the
part of the pattern which represents the best alignment. (See p. 41 for
more details.)
Run Calibration - load paper, then select this button to print the
calibration test patterns. (See p. 41 for more details.)
Cut Paper After Running Calibration Test - checking this box cuts
the paper after the test pattern is printed.
Paper Length Calibration - click this button to print a 33-inch line
down the length of the media loaded in the printer. You can then
measure this line to determine if there are any line length accuracy
errors. You can enter the measurement in inches or millimeters. (See
32 for details.)
Apply Settings button (Windows 3.x only) - click to apply changes.
Cartridges
Ink Levels - the icons indicate the ink level of each cartridge. It's a
good practice to check the ink level before starting a long print run and
refilling the cartridges if necessary.
Reset - selecting the Reset button resets the ink counter to "full". Do
this whenever you refill a cartridge or replace it with a new, filled
cartridge.
Enable Ink Counting - check this option to enable ink counting
(default).
