About ENCAD
This tab of the software control panel lists the revision level of the
control panel software. You'll need this information if you call for
technical support.
Printer control
Forward - Moves media forward.
Backward - Moves media backward.
Media Standard - Tells the printer what size media is in use.
Cut - Cuts the media.
Prime Cartridges - prints the cartridge test pattern. (See p. 40 for
more details.)
Access Cartridges - moves the cartridge carrier away from the service
station so that you can clean, refill, or replace cartridges.
Roll Feed - when checked, enables Roll Feed mode. When unchecked,
sheet media can be used.
Save Media - when checked, the printer cuts the media directly after
the image rather than advancing the full frame of the media size when
dry time has expired.
Auto Cut - when checked, the media is cut after dry time expires. This
feature is enabled only when Roll Feed mode is selected.
Printer (Windows 3.x)
Same as the Printer Control tab with these additions:
Apply Settings - clicking this button applies the settings made on this
tab only. It is not necessary to press it after each selection, only press
once before you leave this tab.
