Left/Right Offset Balance CSR

Note: The left/right offset balance can be set by writing a floating point value to the Absolute L/R
Offset Balance field or by writing an integer value to the Raw L/R Offset Balance field. Refer to
Section
4.2.2.1
Register Base Address: 0x0F20
Field Name: Register Status
Description: The integer value in this field indicates the status of this control register:
Field Name: Absolute L/R Offset Balance
Description: Writing a floating point value to this field sets the left/right offset balance in DN (digital num-
Field Name: Absolute Min
Description: Minimum allowed floating point value for the absolute left/right offset balance setting.
Field Name: Absolute Max
Description: Maximum allowed floating point value for the absolute left/right offset balance setting.
Field Name: Raw L/R Offset Balance
Description: Writing an integer value to this field sets the left/right offset balance.

for an explanation of the difference between these two fields.
0x00 = The register is not available
0x01 = The register is available. All related settings are OK
0x80 = A value in the register is set out of range
bers). For example, if the value in this field is set to +10.5, the left/right offset balance would
be +10.5 DN.
When the camera is set for 8 bit output, the left/right offset balance can normally range from
-20.0 DN to +20 DN in increments of 0.5.
When the camera is set for 10 bit output, the left/right offset balance can normally range
from -80.0 DN to +80 DN in increments of 0.5.
The value in this field is a standard IEEE-754 single precision (32 bit) floating point number.
See Section
3.6.4
for more information about offset balance.
The value in this field is a standard IEEE-754 single precision (32 bit) floating point number.
The value in this field is a standard IEEE-754 single precision (32 bit) floating point number.
The value can normally range from -40 (0XFFD8) to +40 (0X0028).
The DN of left/right offset balance that will be applied at a given setting in this field is de-
termined by this formula:
DN = setting / 2
For example, if the value in this field is set to +15 (0x000F), then:
DN = 15 / 2
DN = 7.5
The 2 bytes in this field are interpreted as follows:
Byte 1 = Low byte of the raw value
Byte 2 = High byte of the raw value
See Section
3.6.4
for more information about offset balance.
