8. Remove the 2 (0.375-16 x 2.250 inch) carriage screws, 2 (3/8-16) nuts, and 2
washers securing the deck strut assembly to the frame.

9. Remove the 2 (3/8 inch) LH upper shoulder screws and 2 (3/8-16 inch)
washers securing the deck support chains to the deck lift shaft. Repeat on
the RH side of the machine.
