Engine Removal
Engine: Service and Repairs
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PTO. Stop the engine,
wait for all moving parts to stop, and remove key. Engage the parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable first, then the positive
cable from the battery.
3. Drain the oil into a suitable container.
4. Close the fuel supply.

5. Remove the engine guard.
6. Remove the deck drive belt from the mower deck.

7. Remove the hydrostatic drive belt from the machine.

8. Disconnect the chassis wire harness from the main engine wire harness.

9. Disconnect the red (B+) wire from the starter.
