Symbol Meaning
Failure
A device error is present. The measured value is no longer valid.

The device is in service mode (e.g. during a simulation).

Out of specification
The device is operated:
• Outside its technical specification limits (e.g. outside the process temperature range)
• Outside of the configuration carried out by the user (e.g. maximum flow in parameter 20 mA

Maintenance is required. The measured value is still valid.

Diagnostic behavior
Symbol Meaning
Alarm
The measurement is interrupted. The signal outputs and totalizers take on the defined alarm
