While pushing stay (5) in the direction of the arrow,
open the engine hood.
4)
Set stay (5) in LOCK position (9).
METHOD FOR LOCKING ENGINE HOOD
1.
Hold knob (4) and support the engine hood.
2.
Hold knob (7), pull stay (5) in the direction of the arrow,
and remove stay (5) from intermediate LOCK position (6).
3.
Check that stay (5) is set in guide groove (10), and then
lower the engine hood.
Do not lower the engine hood forcibly while stay (5) is
not set in guide groove (10). If you do so, stay (5) may
be deformed.
Do not release knob (4) until the engine hood is low-
ered fully.
