OPERATION
5.
Take off hoop portion (2) from hook (3).
6.
Hold knob (4) and pull up the engine hood.
7.
Push stay (5) in the direction of the arrow and set it in in-
termediate LOCK position (6) securely.
The engine hood can be locked at 2 different opening an-
gles. However, lock it to intermediate LOCK position (6)
usually for inspection etc.
8.
To open the engine hood fully, perform the following proce-
dure.
1)
Hold knob (4) and pull down the engine hood.
2)
Hold knob (7) and pull stay (5) in the direction of the
arrow.
Stay (5) stops first at branch portion (8) of the guide
groove.
