ST Immediately after receiving a command, the Reader/Writer communicates with a
Tag and returns a response.
If the Tag is missing, an error is returned.
During communications, only one Tag should exist in the communications area.
SA After receiving a command, the Reader/Writer waits for a Tag to enter the com-
munications area. Next, the Reader/Writer communicates with the entering Tag
and returns a response. During communications, only one Tag exists in the com-
munications area.
SR After receiving a command, the Reader/Writer waits for a Tag to enter the com-
munications area. Next, the Reader/Writer communicates with the entering Tag
and returns a response. After sending the response, the Reader/Writer enters a
Tag waiting state again and repeats this process until receiving the Stop or Reset
Command.
During communications, only one Tag should exist in the communications area.
MT Immediately after receiving a command, the Reader/Writer communicates with all
of the Tags existing in the communications area and returns responses corre-
sponding to each Tag.
If the Tag is missing, an error is returned.
MR The Reader/Writer waits for Tags to enter the communications area. It communi-
cates with all of the Tags existing in the communications area and returns re-
sponses corresponding to each Tag. After completing communications, the
Reader/Writer disables the operation of the Tag. After sending the response, the
Reader/Writer enters a Tag waiting state again and repeats this process until re-
ceiving the Stop or Reset Command.
FT Immediately after receiving a command, the Reader/Writer communicates with a
Tag and returns a response.
After completing communications, the Reader/Writer disables the operation of the
Tag. After sending the response, the Reader/Writer will continue to operate until it
receives a FIFO command, stop command, or reset command.
During communications, only one Tag in the Communications area is operable.
FA After receiving a command, the Reader/Writer waits for a Tag to enter the com-
munications area. Next, the Reader/Writer communicates with the entering Tag
and returns a response. After sending the response, the Reader/Writer will con-
tinue to operate until it receives a FIFO command, stop command, or reset com-
mand.
After sending the response, the Reader/Writer enters a command waiting state.
During communications, only one Tag in the Communications area is operable.
FR The Reader/Writer waits for a Tag to enter the communications area and commu-
nicates with the entering Tag. After completing communications, the Reader/Writer
disables the operation of the Tag. After sending the response, the Reader/Writer
enters a Tag waiting state again and repeats this process until receiving the Stop
or Reset Command. During communications, only one Tag in the Communications
area is operable.
