Downloading Firmware to the Hub in the Console

To download new firmware to the hub, perform the following steps:
1. Make sure you are connected to a firmware server with an Xmodem
connection on your console.
2. See the support card at the beginning of this manual for information on
downloading firmware.
From the Main Menu, type 6 and press [Enter]. The Hub Console

Interface displays the following prompt:
The serial download protocol is xmodem. If downloading
begin xmodem transfer after responding (Y) to the
query.
WARNING: This command will erase the hub firmware!
Do you wish to continue?(Y/N)>
If you are sure you are ready to proceed, type Y and press [Enter].
4.
New firmware is downloaded to the hub. The Hub Console Interface may
display a new menu that reflects the new firmware revision.
Configuration Reference
Careful. By
downloading new
firmware, you
overwrite existing
firmware on the hub.
You may also lose your
console session.
