Running a Link Test in the Console

To run a Link Test from the Hub Console Interface, perform the following
tasks:
From the Main Menu, type 4 and press [Enter]. The Hub Console

Interface displays the Diagnostics Menu.
From the Diagnostics Menu, type 1 and press [Enter]. The Hub

Console Interface displays the Link Test Screen.
3. Type the MAC address of the hub at the Enter Destination MAC
Address prompt and press [Enter]. The Hub Console Interface displays the
following prompt:
Enter number of packets to send.
4. Type a number at that indicates the number of packets the hub should
send to the test device to determine whether a valid connection exists
between the two devices. Press [Enter]. The Hub Console Inter-
face displays the following prompt:
Enter timeout in seconds (1-30)
