The trailer tongue weight is the maximum permitted weight applied by the trailer tongue onto the trailer hitch.
The gross trailer weight is the trailer weight plus the weight of the load on the trailer.
The vehicle rated capacity is the maximum weight on the vehicle. This capacity includes the weight
of: bed load, cargo, occupants, and optional equipment.
The vehicle combination rated capacity is the maximum weight on the vehicle with a trailer. This
capacity includes: vehicle rated capacity and the gross trailer weight.
The maximum gross vehicle weight is the vehicle weight plus the vehicle rated capacity.
