If Draw is not the default tool, press Tool Options to switch to Draw.
3. Trace can be done with a Draw. Draw will follow your movements
4. Move the caliper to the desired start point.
5. Press the Set key to place the start point and start drawing the trace.
6. Moving the caliper now leaves behind a trail of dots to mark the trace outline. Press the
Switch key to adjust the positions of the PS or ED points in the trace.
7. Press the Set key to complete the trace.
8. At this point the trace measurement may display the following results (the actual results
shown will depend on the preset):
 PS
 ED
 MD
 TAMax
 PGmax
 PGmean
 PI
 RI
 S/D
 VTI
 Time
 AT
 DT
To use the Trace measurement with a Spline method:
1. Invoke the Measure Function on a Doppler strip.
2. If Trace is not the default measurement, select Trace from the touchscreen.
If Spline is not the default tool, press Tool Options to switch to Spline. Trace can be done
by placing several points to create a spline.
3. Move the caliper to the desired start point and press the Set key to place the first point.
4. Moving the caliper now leaves behind a curve line, and press the Set key to place the
second point.
5. Repeat step 3 to step 4 to place other points. It is required to place at least three points and
at most 40 points can be placed. The curve line connecting all the points placed finally
makes the trace outline.
6. Moving the caliper backwards to previous ones will erase the points and curve line
connecting them. Or, you can press Undo button to remove one point and its connecting
curve line. Each press of Undo button removes one point.
7. Double press Set key to complete the trace.
8. At this point the trace measurement may display the following results (the actual results
shown will depend on the preset):
