Performing a Blank Analysis

Install empty, straight-wall sample tubes (free of cracks or chips) of the same size in the

sample and balance ports as described below. Be sure that O-rings are present and in good

condition.

The Balance port is located on the left as you face the instrument and the Analysis port is

located on the right.

To attach a tube to a port, follow the steps below:

1. First, remove the port plug. Turn the connector nut on the port clockwise to loosen, then

remove the port plug, connector nut, and O-ring. If the O-ring does not come out of the

port with the plug, you may need to pry it out of the port.
