Hardware Installation and Cabling Information
External Cabling
This section provides instructions for installing external cabling to the Compaq
ProLiant Storage System/U family of products.
External SCSI Connections
If you are connecting the Smart Array 221 Controller to one of the following
Compaq ProLiant Storage Systems, use an external cable.
External SCSI cables are not supplied with the Smart Array 221 Controller
Option Kit. However, these cables are supplied with all of these Compaq
external storage systems:
ProLiant Storage System Model U1(single bus)
ProLiant Storage System Model U2 (dual bus)
ProLiant Storage System Model UE (high capacity single bus)
