The backup file is a ZIP archive that contains the configuration file as well as a text file with
the most important device information.
4.3 Operation as a CAN-Bluetooth Interface
Use the device as a CAN-Bluetooth Interface for wireless transmission of CAN data to other
Bluetooth devices such as PCs, smartphones, or tablets. You can then log and evaluate the CAN
data on these devices. Bidirectional data transfer starts as soon as the software has created a
connection with the device. We recommend using RM CAN-Device Monitor or RM Tools
Dashboard for visualization and evaluation of the data received. Alternatively, you can use
software you program yourself.

Configuring a CAN-Bluetooth Interface
To be able to use the device as a CAN-Bluetooth Interface, you need to alter the configuration.
